William Lee Dwyer (March 26, 1929 – February 12, 2002) was a United States federal judge.
Born in Olympia, Washington, Dwyer received a B.S. from the University of Washington in 1951 and an LL.B. from New York University School of Law in 1953. He was in the United States Army Lieutenant, J.A.G. Corps from 1953 to 1956. He was a law clerk, Supreme Court of Washington, Olympia, Washington in 1957. He was in private practice in Seattle, Washington from 1957 to 1987.
Dwyer was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Dwyer was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on July 28, 1987, to a seat vacated by Donald S. Voorhees. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on November 5, 1987, and received his commission on November 6, 1987. He assumed senior status on December 1, 1998. Dwyer served in that capacity until February 12, 2002, due to his death.
He died in Seattle, Washington.
